Basic Qualifications:
BS or MS with equivalent experience in CS, CE.
4+ years of demonstrated experience with strong C/ C++ development skills and a fundamental understanding of embedded software architecture and development.
4+ years of technical leadership in embedded systems development.
Ability and desire to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and good organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with basic RF communications, digital signal processing concepts, serial interfaces, network protocol.
Experience in QT development skills.
Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) in an embedded environment.
Excellent understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability for building embedded platforms in a mobile automotive environment.
Experience with RFI testing and UL, CA, and CE electrical and safety standards.
Excellence in technical communications with both technical and non-technical peers.
Ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.
Theory of operation of electronic measurement devices such as LVDTs, strain gauges, encoders, and thermocouples.
Experience with CAN bus is a plus.
Development experience using ARM processors, GPUs and SoC.
Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers to maintain architectural vision and software quality.
Excellence in technical communications with both technical and non-technical peers.
Experience providing technical/ operational guidance to contractors and monitor quality assurance.
Knowledge of Linux architecture and development, from drivers and hardware interfaces, up through application layers: Designing, developing, debugging and deploying Linux on embedded hardware platforms.
Experience creating and implementing automated tests at the unit.
