Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, transformers, or other components;2. Repairs or replaces wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools;3. Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools;4. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety system;5. Plans layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes;6. Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with regulations;7. Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools cause of breakdown and corrects the problem;8. Prepares sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment to ensure conformance to building safety codes;9. Installs ground leads and connects power cables to the equipment when needed;10. Works from ladder, scaffolds and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures11. Advises management on whether continued operation of equipment is hazardous;12. Performs related functions as advised by the supervisor from time to time
