Reporting to the Supervisor - Mobile Maintenance (UG Equipment).Key tasks and responsibilities:Complete all the necessary documentation such as work orders, and time sheets for future referenceCommunicate with others about the assigned task and discuss the outcome of the risk assessmentTroubleshoot and repair all underground heavy mobile equipment electrical systems including but not limited to basic electrical systems, PLC systems, remote control systems, and rig control systemsEnsure the safe operation of underground mobile equipment by conducting preventive maintenance as required and troubleshooting any malfunctionsCarries out skilled maintenance and can work independently in the repair of underground heavy mobile equipment, and other auxiliary equipmentDiagnose and undertake electrical repair on wide variety of vehicles and equipmentAssist Mechanics in conducting repairs on light and heavy equipment, and other auxiliary equipmentSuggest ways to prevent future equipment malfunction or improve equipment performancePerform tool-keeping and housekeeping duties, and take accountability on issued and toolroom tools and equipment to ensure they are kept tidy, safe to use, and completeMaintain good housekeeping in work areas and around workshopsComplete Timesheets timelyQualificationsBehaviour consistent with OceanaGold Corp.
