Required Experience
• Must have a degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related Engineering field.
• Licensed or unlicensed candidates are welcome to apply.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role in the gaming industry is required.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in effective planning, scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Harness Design Software, VISIO, or equivalent design-related software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Has in-depth understanding about electrical and electronic devices specifications and manufacturing processes.
• With knowledge of EMI/EMC, Safety and Quality Standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive design data concepts, estimate budget, make activity plans and schedule. Disseminate tasks to team members.
2. Monitor the progress, status, and potential issues of each project.
3. Review electrical designs and analyze potential design concerns and discuss with team for possible countermeasures.
4. Check necessary engineering documents such as electrical and electronic specifications, block and wiring diagram, harness drawings and routing.
5. Monitor and validate the electrical design from trial up to mass production process.
6. Facilitate Design Change Concept for quality improvement and VAVE activities.
7. Provide technical support for any electrical related concern during trial and mass production.
8. Train and mentor new hires and continually develop the skills of existing team members.
9. Regularly evaluate team members and identify areas of improvement.
10. Support in design process on certain tasks to achieve project goals.
11. Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate superior, as they relate to the job title and description, on an as-needed basis.
