Electrical Estimator (Commercial Projects)

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction management, or related field
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, particularly in commercial projects.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations in commercial construction.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Planswift, EstimateOne, or similar tools).
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare cost breakdowns for commercial electrical projects.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure estimate accuracy.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information for the estimation process.
Submit bid proposals and participate in tendering processes.
Monitor and update cost estimates based on changes in project scope or market conditions.
Assist in project budgeting and forecasting.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current market pricing, labor rates, and material costs.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
