Responsible for safe and prompt restoration of power during outages and scheduled power interruptions and in carrying out post-connection services.
Responsibilities: Supervises SO field crews and ensures assigned tasks or Job Orders are carried out in a safe, timely, and efficient manner;Attends to customers' calls and queries and generates Job Orders for crew execution and resolutions;Ensures the prompt and safe restoration of power during the occurrence of line trouble or line faults;Administers safe and smooth switching procedures to attain the desired isolation and transfer of supply from one source to another based on the approved switching plan in coordination with field crews and Substation personnel;Monitors and ensures the compliance of field crews on safety standards, policies, and processes in order to ensure a safe working environment;Communicates with SO field crews, LCM crews, substation personnel, and other field coordinators when emergency response is required;Coordinates closely with Customer Service Division for the update and turn-over of dispatched Job Orders for proper accounting and corresponding feedback to the system application;Coordinates with Engineering Services Division to maintain and update records of DT stations movement, asset Condition Database, and Single Line Diagram;Conducts monitoring of power quality in certain areas and submits recommendations or executes necessary corrections when doable;Prepares and submits daily reports to Department Head and other superiors for updating of Distribution System performance during duty coverage;Performs administrative functions such as monitoring of staff's performance, coaching, mentoring, and counseling to improve work productivity, performance, and behavior;Assists the Department Head in preparing plans, budget, statistics, data analysis, payroll, meal allowances, and other required reports.Qualifications: Graduate of Electrical Engineering, must be a Registered Electrical Engineer;Between one to two years related work experience;Technically proficient within distribution systems and with experience of leading a team involved in field operation activities is preferred;Good oral and written communication skills;Willing to work different shifts and perform off-hour coverage;Ability to make sound decisions especially during emergency situations;Team player and can collaborate and build effective and respectful working relationships;Preferably with a Professional Driver's License (RC12).
