Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will oversee all aspects of electrical work at the shipyard, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance. This role involves supervising the preparation of assessment reports based on onsite evaluations.

Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems for new builds, renovations, and shipyard improvements.Modify established methods to produce design calculations, layouts, and specifications that meet project objectives.Conduct construction inspections and quality control assessments.Prepare cost estimates, time schedules, and technical specifications.Evaluate designs and specifications for technical efficiency and suitability.Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.Inspect installations and operations for compliance with safety and design standards.Utilize AutoCAD and engineering software for design and analysis tasks.Collaborate with contract management on scope, programming, and scheduling.Stay updated on advances in electrical engineering and perform additional duties as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; must be a licensed Electrical Engineer.Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a shipyard, power plant, or manufacturing setting.Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Innovative mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities.Willingness to work in Subic, Zambales.
