Job DescriptionElectric Control Engineer
DescriptionAs Engineering Officer, you are responsible for ensuring proper and cost-effective repair and maintenance of all company facilities, including store spaces and structures.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsures that Stores' equipment and facilities such as electricity, air conditioning units, and other facilities are in good condition to sustain the smooth operation of the office building.Manage the Stores' and Head Office maintenance and repairs, modification, and expansion works including supervision of subcontractors and coordination with design consultants for civil, electrical, and mechanical.Ensure that all as-built drawings and electronic files are updated reflecting the modifications made in the Head Office, stores, and facilities.Plan and supervise execution of repairs and maintenance activities in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner and ensure that work progress is in accordance with the maintenance program.Prepare the daily schedule/work assignment of the Engineering and Maintenance Staff and ensure that implementation is in accordance with the method statement, work procedures, preventive maintenance checklist, and work instructions.Tagging of facilities equipment and tools, keeping them in a secure place, and maintaining a logbook to record issuance to maintenance crew.Monitor the electricity and water consumption and implement necessary measures for cost savings.Ensure compliance with and manage all health, safety, and security requirements of the Company and all government regulatory bodies.Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldProven experience as an engineering officer or similar roleStrong knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and practicesAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) softwareKnowledge of project management principlesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWorking LocationGovernment Mandated BenefitsIf the position requires you to work overseas, please be vigilant and beware of fraud.
