Position/Job Title: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Reports to Maintenance Manager
Work Location: Sabang, Baler Philippines
WORK SCHEDULE: 6 times per week, 8 AMto 5 PM (time and off may be flexible)
Job Purpose:
Electrical Engineer ensures the efficient and safe operation of all electrical systems and equipment within the property. Their role is pivotal in maintaining a comfortable and secure environment for guests and staff while upholding the resort's operational standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, elevators, fire alarm systems, and other electrical infrastructure within the resort.Overseeing the installation of new electrical systems, equipment, and upgrades. This involves planning, designing, and implementing electrical projects while adhering to safety standards and local regulations.Ensuring that all electrical systems meet safety codes and standards. Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve potential safety hazards.Implementing energy-efficient solutions and technologies to optimize power consumption and reduce utility costs without compromising guest comfort or safety.Be involved in projects related to entertainment systems, audiovisual equipment, spa facilities, and any other amenities that rely on electrical systemsPerform electrical maintenance.Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment specifications, and compliance reports. Providing reports to management as necessary.Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of solar panels.Responsible for the efficient and safe installation of solar panels on the resort.Perform preventive maintenance of solar panels, batteries and cables.Check and repair all broken or damaged appliances.Receive and respond to any maintenance complaint which requires technical skill.Keep all necessary maintenance tools.Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).1-5 years of experience in electrical engineering.Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium, etc.).Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary Range (Php): 25k - 40k
