The Electrical Engineer holds a pivotal role within the project team, overseeing multiple projects and resources across all phases of the building lifecycle, from planning and development to execution. This entails close collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery, while also adhering to design specifications and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities: Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget performance and quality standards. Plan, design and manage multiple project typologies. Establish, implement, and monitor project resources including setups, standards, and skill assessment within the management coverage. Facilitate the assignment of project team members by supporting in the selection of members ensuring efficient allocation of common resources and skills within the project. Call and schedule team briefings and kick-off meetings to ensure team members are on board and properly updated with project requirements and plans. Manage the communication and coordination of technical issues with external project teams. Prepare periodic project reports. Accountable for quality control of design, process, and contract documents. Manage due diligence and ensure that project complies with codes and regulations. Support clients in preparation of documents for the application permits. Manage and organize project correspondences. Support in project billing coordination and follow-ups. Mentor project team on company standards and procedures. Manage the preparation of contract documents and specifications for projects. Essential Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of building design, architectural systems, and applicable codes. Intermediate skills in the use of applicable software. Knowledge in ArchiCAD/Revit modeling, and construction documentation. Knowledge and experience in coordinating Engineering Design & other Specialty Services. Ability to establish relationships with new clients & nurture relationships with existing clients. Excellent work ethic with the ability to function efficiently without supervision. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and Professional License in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 6 years working experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects, resources, and overseeing projects from inception to completion and closeout.
