About the Job The Electric and Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the electrical and instrumentation systems onboard the vessels. This role ensures the proper maintenance, repair, and operation of the electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the vessels.

Plan, collaborate and recommend with ship superintendents TS vessel and/or TS crane on the electrical and instrumentation upgrades, modifications, and new installations onboard the vessels. Develop maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with industry standards.

The E&I superintendent will collaborate with the vessel crew, technical team, and external contractors to execute maintenance schedules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The E&I superintendent also oversees the NavCom Supervisor to ensure the radio and communication equipment of the ship are functioning properly and meets standard requirement. Collaborate with NavCom Supervisor on the maintenance and improvement of the ship's radio and communication equipment. And also provides support to the NavCom supervisor, facilitating effective troubleshooting and resolution of technical challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities Ensure that the PMS is ship specific. Monitor the maintenance and breakdowns for developing procedures including analytics in improving the PMS. Ensure that all electrical and instrumentation work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. Check and monitor records in SERTICA for accuracy of all electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Provide technical guidance and training to shipboard engineers, electricians, and other relevant personnel Oversee the Navcom Supervisor, ensuring he/she effectively manage the team and fulfill the responsibilities related to navigation and communication system of the ship Prepare reports on the condition of electrical and instrumentation systems for BU head Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field. At least five (5) years of experience in electrical and instrumentation roles, preferably in the shipping or power plant industry. Strong knowledge of electrical and control systems, including power generation, distribution, automation, and instrumentation Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Preferably with understanding on domestic maritime regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Accepts correction and constructive criticism. With high levels of honesty, integrity and reliability. Can easily adapt into a fast-paced working environment Non - compromising work standards, integrity and ethical practices Team oriented Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site onboard vessels. Valid certifications related to electrical and instrumentation systems are preferred. Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
