The Production Manager for our Education project is responsible for overseeing and coordinating with the production staff to ascertain that we create the best educational products for students, teachers, and parents. This position involves supervising a team of content and design specialists, graphic designers, and writers and ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
 
 
Responsibilities:
Organizes, plans, directs, and controls the production process, utilizing effective project management approaches.
Ensures that the production flow is seamless and efficient?from content creation, product design, and quality evaluation to publishing the products live on the website.
Draws and plans production schedules and manages the daily allocation of tasks to ensure that the team works effectively to meet the daily production targets.
Manages the daily target quota of the team and addresses any challenges with utmost urgency.
Works to improve the quality of content and design on products by regularly checking the team?s output and implementing recommendations from contributing teams like the Quality Team.
Sets standards with the help of the Product Manager, Creative Lead, and Quality Team by understanding users and competition.
Collaborates closely with
counterparts to ensure company-wide product development efforts are factored into the design and ?fit for purpose.?Creates processes and procedures that continually improve communication and efficiency across all production areas.
Anticipates and resolves production issues by escalating them to appropriate departments so they do not halt progress or production flow.
Randomly tests the products to ensure they meet the quality requirements based on the standard guide and product usability.
Coordinates and regularly meets with the Quality Team to get feedback/insights about the quality evaluation results and ensures that all improvement areas are addressed in production.
Understands, communicates, and updates the team about any product features and requirements.
Qualifications:
A Licensed Teacher with 2+ years of teaching experience
Project Management and Process Improvement experience is an advantage
Managerial experience is an advantage
Can manage multiple teams from onsite and offsite set-up
Must work onsite or in the office is mandatory
