Responsibilities ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced E-commerce Sales Specialist to lead the development, maintenance, and revenue-driving initiatives of our e-commerce site specializing in a broad range of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products, including but not limited to Power Tools, Fasteners, Safety/PPE, and Cutting Tools to name a few. You will also play a critical role in driving traffic to the site through effective SEO and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate has an extensive background in managing similar projects and initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth from the e-commerce sales channel. Manage projects from design, development, and maintenance, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement enhancements to the e-commerce platform, including features, functionality, and user experience improvements. Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track, measure, and optimize the e-commerce site's performance, making data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the fasteners and hardware industry and leverage this knowledge to drive strategic decision-making. Develop and execute effective SEO and digital marketing strategies to drive targeted traffic to the e-commerce site and increase organic search rankings. Oversee the development and execution of online marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media marketing, paid advertising, and affiliate marketing, to maximize customer acquisition and retention. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including web development agencies, SEO agencies, and digital marketing agencies, to ensure high-quality deliverables and effective collaboration. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry advancements in e-commerce, SEO, and digital marketing, and share insights and recommendations with the team. Develop and manage the design, stock management, and customer journeys for users and partners. Qualifications WHAT YOU BRING: 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in the fasteners and hardware industry. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and technologies, including content management systems (CMS), shopping cart software, and payment gateways. Proficiency in SEO, digital marketing, and online advertising strategies and tactics. Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth through e-commerce sales channels. Knowledge of web analytics tools and data-driven decision-making. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
