Position Summary: The E-commerce Head of Warehouse plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our e-commerce warehouse. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in e-commerce warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of supply chain principles.
Responsibilities: 1. Oversee E-commerce Warehouse Operations:
Direct and supervise all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of e-commerce orders. Ensure that all operations are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Implement best practices to optimize warehouse layout, workflow, and resource utilization. 2. Develop and Implement Warehouse Policies and Procedures:
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse processes to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance. Continuously review and update policies and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. 3. Manage Inventory Levels and Coordination:
Monitor inventory levels and stock movements to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize stockouts. Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and other relevant departments to forecast demand, plan inventory replenishment, and optimize inventory turnover. 4. Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS):
Utilize and optimize the functionality of the warehouse management system (WMS) to streamline operations, track inventory accuracy, and generate reports. Provide training and support to warehouse staff on WMS usage and troubleshooting. 5. Leadership and Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse personnel, ensuring that staff are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their duties effectively. Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise among warehouse staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce warehouse management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of e-commerce warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics. Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), such as Anchanto or Ginee. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and implement process improvements. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
