Driver Mechanic

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities.
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)
aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
- Drive motor vehicles for transporting NIA Personnel and materials;
- Check vehicle operating conditions prior to and upon return from trips;
- Prepare/accomplish trip tickets, fuel and oil consumption reports, accidents and other related reports;
- Perform servicing, trouble shooting and repair of vehicles;
- Secure assigned vehicle at all times during trips to prevent pilferage and/or loss;
- Perform other related functions.
