Draftsman

Responsibilities

:
Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other drafting software. Collaborate with architects and engineers to translate design concepts into accurate drawings. Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project teams and clients. Maintain drawing archives and ensure documentation accuracy and organization. Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of drawings with project requirements. Creating Technical Drawings: Usingputer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings, plans, and diagrams based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers, architects, or designers.

Drafting Plans: Developing detailed drawings of structures,ponents, and systems, including dimensions, materials, and procedures. Reviewing Design Specifications: Reviewing design specifications and requirements to ensure accuracy andpliance with regulations and standards.

Collaborating with Engineers and Architects: Working closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and make necessary adjustments to drawings.

Converting Sketches to CAD Drawings: Converting hand-drawn sketches and concepts into CAD drawings.

Creating 3D Models: Creating 3D models and renderings of structures andponents.

Ensuring Accuracy: Checking drawings for accuracy,pleteness, and adherence to standards and specifications. Documenting Changes: Documenting and maintaining records of changes to drawings and plans.

Meeting Deadlines: Working efficiently to meet project deadlines and milestones.

Staying Updated: Staying updated with the latest CAD software and drafting techniques.

Requirements Diploma or degree in Drafting Technology or related field. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in architectural drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Goodmunication and time management skills. Job ID D665A32299
