Job Description Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the development, BA, and Engineering teams. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. Motivate and mentor team members in achieving their career goals and professional development. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and requirements. Maintain a deep understanding of modern technology stacks, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Make informed decisions regarding technology choices, architecture, and development methodologies. Quality Assurance: Ensure the development and maintenance of high-quality software products through effective QA processes and testing methodologies. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the company's technology strategy and roadmap. Align technology initiatives with business objectives and market needs. Budget Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project and departmental goals while adhering to budgetary constraints. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with senior management, stakeholders, and other departments to provide updates on project status, risks, and opportunities. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven track record of managing large (50+) and diverse teams in a dynamic environment. Expertise in defining criteria and managing performance of Software Engineering, DevOps and Quality Assurance teams Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, technologies, practices, and project management. Strategic thinking with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives. Experience in budget management. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) may be beneficial.
