In this role, you will provide strategic leadership of an operations group with focus on creating an efficient organization that delivers "World Class" service to our clients while mitigating risk to the firm.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution - Develop and implement functional business plans to achieve functional goals and objectives.Operational Oversight - Oversee functional operations resourcing and capability requirements to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Financial Management - Manage the financial performance of the function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Team Leadership and Development - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team.Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management - Serve as a primary point of contact for internal GBS stakeholders.Qualifications: Minimum of eight (8) years of cumulative operations leadership experience, with at least three (3) years in a directorship or senior management capacity handling strategy and transformation.Ability to handle large-scale transitions and spearhead key business projects.About Manulife: Manulife is a global financial services leader, serving individuals, families, businesses, and institutions by helping them make their decisions and live better.
