Director, Digital Marketing

Working alongside a professional team at the Group's Corporate Head Office in Hong Kong, we are seeking a Director, Digital Marketing to join the Sales & Marketing Department. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing The Peninsula Hotels' global digital marketing strategy and content optimisation efforts across key digital touchpoints, with the primary goal of increasing overall revenue across direct booking channels.
Work for a highly prestigious and renowned hospitality group International job scope exposure Exceptional benefits such as comprehensive family medical insurance (including dependents) and pension benefits Key Accountabilities Orchestrate the implementation and ongoing management of strong ROI yielding digital media campaigns on a global basis, covering channels including but not limited to search engine advertising (PPC), meta search, social media advertising, and programmatic display advertising. Oversee the ongoing relationships with agencies to drive optimal performance. This includes creating and rolling out agency RFPs as needed. Provide digital teams in hotel operations with strategic guidance and tools which supplements local tactics to ensure operations are optimising online revenue growth. Drive digital marketing best practice adoption and system standardisation across the group and digital teams in hotel operations. Lead digital marketing creative development process, collaborating closely with Brand Marketing team and agency partners to ensure creative is optimised and synchronised across the marketing funnel. Lead the optimisation and maintenance of The Peninsula's digital content program, to ensure we present an engaging customer experience, while also optimising content for search engine visibility. Lead the digital marketing analytics strategy and setup for The Peninsula's ongoing digital marketing and e-commerce efforts, ensuring that head office and hotel teams have the right level of data access and dashboards to support ongoing performance evaluation and business decisions. Proactively explore and recommend new marketing channels that can potentially increase group revenue streams. General requirements University Degree or higher in a relevant field. Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury consumer and service fields. Regional or global experience is preferred. Strong expertise in digital marketing and analytics (SEO, SEM, Programmatic Display, Google Analytics). Team development and management experience. Excellent communication skills and socially adept.
