Direct Sales/Marketing Position Job Description: Seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for a Direct Sales/Marketing role. The ideal candidate will play a critical part in finding and qualifying leads, guiding potential customers through the sales process, and performing light recruitment. The position involves promoting a variety of natural household items, and requires strong promotional skills and a deep understanding of direct sales. Experience with multi-level marketing (MLM) is highly preferred.
Skills and Qualifications: Lead Generation and Qualification: Proactively search for new leads using online platforms, networking, and other creative methods. Qualify leads by assessing their needs, preferences, and interest in the product. Maintain and update a database of prospective customers and ensure timely follow-ups. Sales Process Management: Guide qualified leads through the entire sales funnel, from initial contact to closing the sale. Answer product-related questions and address any concerns or objections raised by potential customers. Create orders on behalf of customers, ensuring accuracy in the order details and timely delivery. Respond to customer inquiries through email and chat in a prompt, professional manner. Walk customers through the online ordering process and assist them with setting up accounts, if needed. Upsell or cross-sell products where appropriate, based on the customer's needs. Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the purchasing process and post-purchase support. Engage with the community and potential buyers on social media, creating a presence and brand awareness. Recruitment Support: Assist with light recruitment by identifying and reaching out to potential sales agents or team members. Evaluate candidates and determine whether they are a good fit for the sales team. Provide guidance to new recruits on the sales process, company culture, and product knowledge. Marketing and Promotion: Act as the face of the company by promoting household products across various platforms. Develop creative and persuasive marketing strategies to boost product visibility and attract new customers. Leverage network marketing techniques to expand reach, using personal connections and online platforms. Qualifications: Experience: 5–7 years of direct sales experience is required. Experience in network marketing (MLM) is strongly preferred. Sales Skills: Demonstrated success in closing sales, handling objections, and building relationships with customers. Autonomy: Ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales process from start to finish with minimal supervision. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers via email, chat, and phone. Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage leads, orders, and customer follow-ups. Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, email marketing tools, and online ordering systems. Working Conditions: Remote position with flexible hours, though availability during peak sales times is required.
This role offers a significant amount of autonomy, with the expectation that the VA will take initiative in driving sales.
