Job Description
The Digital Marketing Specialist will support AECOM's global strategic marketing team report on the performance of their activities, working in partnership with the core digital, brand and content team, communications team, regional and business line marketing teams.
The primary role of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to be the analytical expert within the global strategic marketing function. They will be responsible for collating and analyzing global data from a variety of digital sources (website, social media, email, search), and building dashboards to report against marketing key performance indicators (KPIs). They will use data to story-tell and provide recommendations and actionable insights that drive growth.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be part of the CMO's global strategic marketing team, reporting to the Global Digital Marketing Manager.
Conduct in-depth analysis and interpret data from various digital marketing data sources (e.g. LinkedIn, Salesforce, GA4, Google ads, Meta, SEMrush).Develop and maintain reports on key global strategic campaigns, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).Interpret / translate data to provide insights and key trends on global campaign performance, adapting for business stakeholders.Present data-driven insight reports on campaigns run by Global Business Line Marketing Directors to demonstrate impact against objectives in AECOM's standardized format.Provide clear recommendations / optimizations based on data to inform future strategic marketing campaigns.Build and maintain dashboards using data reporting software (Tableau, Power Bi, Data Studio).Perform ad-hoc data / trend analysis based on needs of the business.Work closely with our development team to enhance our tracking capabilities on our digital platforms and experiment with A/B testing.Work with our regional and global marketing team to drive cross-team collaboration, share best practices and enhance our reporting capabilities globally.Develop relationships with external stakeholders (social media reps / agencies) to stay informed of new trends, metrics and benchmarks.Performs work in accordance with agreed objectives, budget and timescale with little/no supervision. Provides guidance and training to junior team members.
Qualifications
Candidates must be open for midshift schedule (3pm t0 12mn).Candidates must be open for hybrid setup (AECOM's Freedom to Grow).Data / results driven – a desire to identify key trends and transform data into meaningful outcomes.Experience pulling raw data from social media native platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Meta ads manager, Google ads (PPC)).Experience in creating interactive dashboards / report visualization.Proficient Microsoft Office365 and data reporting software (PowerBI and/or Tableau or similar).Experience with tracking digital marketing activities (UTMs, google tag manager).CRM / CMS experience (Salesforce / Pardot / Hubspot).Self-starter with the ability to work as a positive, energized, and adaptable team member.Curious – challenge what the data is showing, understand what is causing key trends.Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize effectively.
