The opportunity
The GDS Marketing Programs Manager (Assistant Director) will assist the EY Alliances and Managed Services Brand, Marketing, and Communications (BMC) team in bringing external marketing campaigns and initiatives to life. Incorporating EY marketing strategies and best practices to adapt business processes for world-class execution and delivery, the role will create measurable impact globally and locally, integrate across industries & service lines and deliver sustainable processes and results. This opportunity requires an experienced, energetic and resilient team player with a good understanding of what it takes to deliver multi-faceted marketing programs in a complex environment. The successful candidate will need to collaborate with the Alliances and Managed Services BMC team and subject matter experts to spearhead and oversee marketing program operations, from planning to completion. Multi-channel programs can include paid media campaigns, lead management, events, sponsorships, webinars, thought leadership, email campaigns, social media programs, internal communications, web presence, and other digital initiatives.
Your key responsibilities
• Campaign management: Combine knowledge of project management, marketing tactics, the EY business and our customer base in order to create and maintain project plans for multi-channel digital campaigns ( deliverables, ads, social media, lead processing, etc.).
• Campaign reporting: Aggregate campaign data and process/analyze to create executive dashboards to help gauge performance and support ongoing program optimization.
• Event management: Develop and drive end-to-end logistics for event planning and execution including contracting, booth, signage, giveaways, sponsorships, speaking opportunities and associated operational tasks. Working seamlessly with EY's travel meeting and events team on associated tasks, perform pre, during and post event duties including: "know before you go" planning, post-event debrief, recap reports and assessments, expense processing, invoice reconciliation, and feedback for team/vendors for ongoing process improvement.
• Content management: Help create/update web pages, SharePoint/Discover sites, social media posts to ensure that content is timely, compelling, and meets business objectives and brand standards.
• Manage internal processes: Maintain program compliance with key internal reviewers/approvers (, BRIDGE, SCORE), GDS teams, enabling areas and third-party vendors to delivery desired outcomes.
• Ad hoc request management/execution: Support the BMC team in other workstreams related to programs.
To qualify for the role, you must have
• Graduate/Bachelor degree in business administration, public relations, marketing, communications or related field preferred
• 12 -15 years of total B2B marketing experience in professional services or similar industries
• An ability to quickly build knowledge of the EY business, particularly the key priorities, structure, internal and external audience, core offerings and our clients' issues and agendas across sectors and geographies globally.
• Outstanding written and oral communications, a generous aptitude to learn the organization's pattern of communication and our client's motivation
• High level networking, team building and stakeholder management skills to develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues
• Extensive experience managing manage multiple campaigns/programs/digital channels under tight deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to manage complex processes and/or projects
• An ability to gather stakeholder feedback to generate meaningful, actionable information that helps drive change and program improvements and bridge any expectation/capability gaps
• Confidence to assert your own ideas, gain support and commitment from executive level stakeholders and mobilize others to take action.
• Experience supervising the work of others to drive an agile team to deliver programs within stipulated timeframes and showing flexibility during peak times
