SUMMARY RealPage provides property management software for the real estate industry. The B2C Email Marketing Designer is responsible for designing all B2C email templates sent to residents of our client property management companies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with product teams inside Real Page and with other partners to deliver marketing and transactional email templates that meet enterprise-level standards. Design HTML email templates from scratch. You must have experience with the aesthetics of designing effective email templates and be familiar with how email templates can be coded in HTML/CSS to effectively display the intended design. Ensure compatibility of the email templates across a variety of email clients. Design email campaigns with A/B split tests, build email templates that use dynamic data, and implement campaigns with multiple mailings that should have a consistent design across all touch points. Follow industry best practices to leverage design elements that increase engagement. Use design software such as Adobe Photoshop to create images and assets to be displayed in email templates. Have experience with at least one commercial email marketing platform, such as Salesforce, Marketo, Message Gears, HubSpot, etc. Experience with PostUp and customer.io is preferred. Adapt to a dynamic start-up environment that is changing rapidly. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES 5 years of experience working in email marketing. Experience with both marketing and transactional emails. Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS coding for email template creation. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve HTML rendering issues. Experience with media queries and coding for multiple email clients, including desktops, mobile, tablets, night mode, etc. Ability to create an HTML template from an image. Experience using design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, to create images and assets for use in email templates. Experience using AWS (Amazon Web Services) or similar service to host images. Ability to collaborate with developers to incorporate dynamic data elements into email template design. Experience using Litmus or similar tool for pre-send inbox rendering and correction of template design. Understand how to use dynamic data to create multivariate campaigns with different messaging for audience subsegments. Understand how to create email templates that can have multiple variants based on dynamic data and/or AB tests. Understand how to leverage design elements for specific target audiences to increase engagement. Experience designing for A/B split campaigns. Experience with Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience using a version control repository, such as Git or similar. Experience designing templates that incorporate CAN-SPAM and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements. Experience utilizing global elements such as headers and footers. Detail-oriented and organized. Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent campaigns and projects. Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira is a plus.
