Devops Engineer

Job Description
- Candidate is to understand the client applications architecture and should have knowledge and application of a wide range of tools and technologies in software development.
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure .
- Setting up tools and required infrastructure.
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage.
- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
- Coordination and communication within the team and with customers.
- Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
- Ensure that all implementations are compliant with IT governance policy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Higher Degree in Computer Science and engineering.
- Master's degree in computer science and engineering would be given preference

- Minimum 5 years' experience in DevOps and CICD tools, such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and GitHub

- In-Depth understanding of Agile Methodology

- Experience in working with RESTful API's

- Experience with DevSecOps tools: Polaris, Fortify, Aquasec, Nexus, etc.
Knowledge/Skill:

- Data Query Language: MS SQL

- Database: MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

- CICD: Jenkins, Azure DevOps
