JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, system administration, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. As a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes, as well as building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, maintain, and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software delivery process. Monitoring & Logging: Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar. Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment of new features and releases. Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards across all stages of the development lifecycle. Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents, ensuring high availability and performance of production systems. Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools. Versioning Control: Proficiency with Git and Git-based workflows. Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles. Skills: Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Solid understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and firewalls. Tools: Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other version control and CI/CD tools. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
