Dental Medical Assistant

This is a remote position.
Responsibilities: Manage PPO insurance verification for patient appointments Prepare and provide free treatment estimates to patients Process and follow up on pending insurance claims Oversee and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) for the practice Answer phone calls and assist patients with inquiries, especially during busy clinical days Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure accurate procedure coding and documentation Assist with general administrative tasks during slower periods Requirements: Proven experience in dental office administration or revenue cycle management In-depth knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance practices Familiarity with dental software and practice management systems Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong customer service orientation with a patient-centric approach Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting Proficiency in using computers and relevant software applications Scope: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific with an hour unpaid break Collaborate with a team of two dentists and visiting specialists Handle financial aspects for a practice seeing 20-30 patients on busy days Contribute to the smooth operation of a three-operatory dental practice Independent Contractor Perks: Permanent work from home Immediate hiring Steady freelance job ZR_17465_JOB
