Dental Assistant

About the role:

Dental Assistants, are responsible for providing hands-on support to Dentists and completing prep work so they can more efficiently care for patients.

What you'll be doing: Assist the dentist during dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other routine and surgical treatments.Prepare and organize instruments, materials, and equipment for dental procedures.Ensure that the treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked, well-organized and prepared for each patient.Sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to clinic protocols and safety standards.Follow infection control procedures to prevent cross-contaminationProvide chairside assistance by handing instruments and materials to the dentist and ensuring patient comfort.Take and develop dental X-rays (if required by the dentist) or assist the dentist in taking them.Record patient information and treatment notes accurately in the patient's record. What we're looking for: At least post-secondary education GraduateStrong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Attention to detailWell-organized and reliable
