Create and optimize an accurate, cost effective and timely delivery plan based on VMI data / customer orders to ensure that the right product and volume is delivered from the right source to the right destination at the right time by the right truck.
Create and optimize an accurate, cost effective and timely delivery plan based on VMI data / customer orders to ensure that the right product and volume is delivered from the right source to the right destination at the right time by the right truck Ensure scheduled deliveries are in line with HSSE and operational procedures and customers´ SLAs Work with VMI analysts (where relevant) and other schedulers to balance order demand against truck supply Ensure the truck diary is correctly set up in CROSS Ensure Supply and product availability issues are reflected in CROSS' set-up Allocate orders to trucks via CROSS Solution Run module Manually fine tune the CROSS output before sending the solution to GSAP before the appropriate cut off time Liaise with other teams that contribute to the Order to Delivery process, including credit checking staff, CSC and scheduling support teams Contribute to the minimization of stock-outs, Left on Boards and excessive multi-dropping. Use related software such as CPP, CPP tuning kit, VMIFE, GSAP as necessary Develop competence to handle and work on several scheduling scopes to contribute to team's flexibility Contribute and participate in embedding the CI/Lean ways of working in OtD Continuously improve scheduling effectiveness, minimizing stock-outs and other rework costs, using benchmarks and KPI monitoring Close teamwork within the scope and in particular with Scheduling Support/Delivery Assurance and Delivery Fulfillment Teams Balance stress, conflicting priorities and time pressures against the need to product an effective and viable schedule 7 days per week scheduling. Therefore, may be a shift rotation work. Qualifications: Communication skills: Proficiency in the Spanish language, both oral and written, is required. Good command of English language also needed. At least 1 year work experience preferably in logistics, manufacturing planning, supply chain management. Technical skills: Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. Experience with SAP is preferred. Comfortable learning new IT systems/applications. Experience in multi-tasking and working/communicating with different stakeholders through voice, e-mail, and instant messaging. Able to prioritize in a hectic environment. Graduate from a 4-year course preferably with a degree in business, mathematics, engineering.
