The Role We're looking for a proven Delivery Lead to spearhead our product development. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a knack for leading cross-functional technical teams, we want to hear from you.
You will lead your squad(s) to deliver on the product roadmap with exceptional quality. You foster a culture of high performance, promoting a team culture that leads to a fun and sustainable way of working. Your expertise in breaking down problems and planning provides the structure for the rest of the squad to support incremental delivery and fast feedback.
Your ticket to success: Value Delivery You'll work with the Product Manager and Technical Leads to build the product roadmap, release plan and own the execution through to launch. You will facilitate the generation of work estimates, drive the cadence of the sprints and their planning using Jira. A key part of the role is keeping the delivery schedule on track and adapting plans on the fly as needed.
Team Captain You will lead and inspire your squad of developers, designers, and QA to cultivate a collaborative and high-energy team atmosphere. On a day-to-day basis, you drive the operating rhythm, having regular interactions with the team as well as facilitating team huddles. You are willing to support your squad as needed to achieve collective outcomes. The team looks to you for direction and you provide clarity on the actions required to achieve goals. You also shield them from untoward scope creep.
Managing Stakeholders Be the go-to person for key stakeholders on all Delivery matters related to your squad. You keep everyone in the loop with regular status updates and strive to manage and exceed stakeholder expectations.
Champion Quality Pay a key role in balancing scope, and schedule and maintaining exceptional quality. Implement and refine best practices for continuous improvement. Conduct regular project reviews, PIRs and retrospectives including the implementation of improvements.
Navigate Risks You eliminate external blockers and manage internal roadblocks. Work with stakeholders to implement mitigation plans and communicate risks and escalate early when necessary.
Keep High Standards Lead by example to ensure you set a high bar in how we operate by being an advocate FrankieOne, for the product, for our people, and for our values. Ensuring key documentation is complete and up to date. Ensure adherence to company policies and delivery practicesprocess and help identify opportunities to better the whole organisation.
In a previous life you have: 5 years + experience leading agile and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Experience working within a startup or dynamic consulting firm Developed a deep understanding of SDLC and agile delivery methodologies. Built excellent communication and organisation skills, with experience engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders Proven track record of delivering product roadmaps on schedule Supported teams in helping breakdown value and deliver it incrementally with fast feedback loops Scrum master, product owner or similar certifications are a plus but not a deal-breaker. #J-18808-Ljbffr
