Summary/Objective:
The deburring operator is the heart and soul of deburring operations of Aurochs Aerospace Precision Manufacturing Corporation. Your job is very critical and requires focus. Dedication and Hard work. You do manual work for the parts of the aerospace and defense industry, every part that you process is equivalent to the survival and safety of 200-1,000 people and millions of dollars of hardware. You refine the edges of the parts, remove imperfections from machined parts, make parts as perfect as they were designed to be. Your job requires perfection, no burns, no foreign object (F.O.D), and all features are required to conform with a blueprint. You understand that your quality stands higher than any industry. Without us, no planes are safe, no spacecraft will fly to space which means everything will be affected. The aerospace and defense industry needs you. Aurochs needs you.
Essential Functions:
Make sure that your parts conform with the blueprint.
Make sure that your parts are burr-free.
Make sure that your parts will not be scraped.
Make sure that your parts are clean before delivery.
Make sure that your parts are finished from the first to the last process.
Report discrepancy to your Team Leader.
Your work orders must be logged to the PMS.
Inspect your work – You should know how to check your work.
Always ask - Don't assume.
Follow DBRI to the details and report discrepancies.
Know one-point lessons in your parts.
Safety first on processing parts.
Check equipment and supplies before executing job orders.
Try to reach Turnaround time (TAT).
Clean as you go.
Organize your tools.
Maintain equipment in good working condition.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses deburring equipment, inspection, equipment, control systems, plans, charts and follows facility rules and regulations.
Physical Demands:
Able to operate in a high-stress and high-demand environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Required to have good spatial recognition, good eyesight, good hand, and eye coordination, and the energy to supervise all production activities. Keen attention to detail is central to the job of detecting defects that could be easily missed by the consumer but still present a safety risk, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively when reporting issues and defects is necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, production supervisors work within the shift of the operators either morning shift 0700 to 1500, mid-shift 1500 to 2300, or night shift 2300 to 0700. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work and overtime.
Travel:
No travel is expected with this position.
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum of high school education with technical training.
At least two years of experience as a production operator in a machine environment.
Problem-solving skills, which support and enable sound decision-making.
Excellent team skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Strong commitment to quality work.
