Job Description:
Maintains Database and Checks Application Performance
i. Receives end-user system concerns and applies appropriate solutions subject to the approval of the immediate superior.
ii. Performs back-up and recovery process for assigned systems and application as instructed by the Database and Application Admin. Manager.
iii. Assists in periodic review to assure that all management system application, database, and related processes are running properly as intended under normal conditions.
Plan and help development of application system
iv. Test and simulate new system application and module to meet required standards under the close supervision of the immediate superior.
v. Documents and analyze new application system, related database and database structure; identifying related processes, sub-processes, and interface whether manual or computerized, related computer controls and related financial and non-financial reports generated.
vi. Reviews existing related standard application system, modules and database sources and gives recommendation to the immediate superior for improvement on issues within the scope of MIS 1 responsibility.
Implementation and maintenance of computer application system
vii. Reviews and cascades detailed procedures of new purchased or developed software subject to the approval of the immediate superior.
viii. Test and reviews user compliance on related detailed procedures during implementation period subject to the review and approval of the immediate superior.
Other functions
ix. Performs other related duties, functions and projects as may be delegated by Database and Application Admin Manager.
Qualifications:
Preferably graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or its equivalent.
Preferably with 1-year experience in Database Administration or System Application Administration or Information Systems Audit or similar business processes or its equivalent.
Preferably with experience in SAP BASIS, MS SQL, Crystal Report, MS Access. And proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point.
Has good oral and written communication skills
