Database Administrator (Ms Sql & Oracle)

Location: UP Technohub, Quezon City (Onsite)

Schedule: Shifting, 5 days with possible weekend shift

SEAT 1 QUALIFICATIONS:
Installation, configuration, and upgrading of MSSQL & Oracle database software
2 – 3yrs experience supporting DB running on Linux and Windows
Ability to diagnose and resolve DB/system issues.
Skills in analyzing logs and dumps for error resolution.
Understanding of basic diagnostic tools and techniques
Knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS)
Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL programming languages
Understanding of MSSQL & Oracle database architecture and components
MS SQL: At least 2 to 3 of below DB HA knowledge:
SQL Server AlwaysOn Avaibility Group
Failover Cluster Instance
DB Mirroring
Log Shipping
Replication
Backup and Recovery (RMAN, Netback up)
Basic performance monitoring and tuning
Managing database storage structures (tablespaces, data files)
Basic knowledge of SQL Server performance monitoring tools
Implementing and managing database security (user accounts, roles, privileges, hardening)
Applying patches and updates to the MSSQL & Oracle database

SEAT 2 QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3yrs experience on MSSQL/Oracle DB Administration
DB User and Security Management
Database Backup & Restoration
Monitoring Tools: SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Developer, Oracle AWR/ASH
SQL (Strucured Query Language): T-SQL (MSSQL), PL/SQL (Oracle)
Shell Scripts: PowerShell or UNIX shells
