Database Administrator (Ms Sql & Oracle)

Location: UP Technohub, Quezon City (Onsite)Schedule: Shifting, 5 days with possible weekend shift SEAT 1 QUALIFICATIONS:Installation, configuration, and upgrading of MSSQL & Oracle database software2 – 3yrs experience supporting DB running on Linux and WindowsAbility to diagnose and resolve DB/system issues.Skills in analyzing logs and dumps for error resolution.Understanding of basic diagnostic tools and techniquesKnowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS)Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL programming languagesUnderstanding of MSSQL & Oracle database architecture and componentsMS SQL: At least 2 to 3 of below DB HA knowledge:SQL Server AlwaysOn Avaibility GroupFailover Cluster InstanceDB MirroringLog ShippingReplicationBackup and Recovery (RMAN, Netback up)Basic performance monitoring and tuningManaging database storage structures (tablespaces, data files)Basic knowledge of SQL Server performance monitoring toolsImplementing and managing database security (user accounts, roles, privileges, hardening)Applying patches and updates to the MSSQL & Oracle databaseSEAT 2 QUALIFICATIONS:2-3yrs experience on MSSQL/Oracle DB AdministrationDB User and Security ManagementDatabase Backup & RestorationMonitoring Tools: SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Developer, Oracle AWR/ASHSQL (Strucured Query Language): T-SQL (MSSQL), PL/SQL (Oracle)Shell Scripts: PowerShell or UNIX shellsService Delivery- Monitoring & Event Management- Incident Management- Request Fulfilment- Change Management- Patch Management- Release Management
