Database Administrator

Location: Makati City (Onsite)
Schedule: Dayshift

JOB SUMMARY:

Primary responsible for setting up, administering, and maintaining the client database, utilizing database software and other file systems which store client data.

Responsible for the design, installation, configuration, capacity planning, migration, performance monitoring, enforcing DB security, troubleshooting, and backup/data recovery.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of extensive experience in different Database environments, i.e., Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, Informix, RDBMSKnowledgeable in database information security conceptsExcellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiencesHighly technical knowledge and analytical abilitiesStrong oral and written communication skillsProblem analysis and solving abilitiesAttention to detailsMust possess the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multi-task workload.
