Database Administrator

Job Functions:
• Design and implement new database systems and architectures, with a focus on MS SQL.
• Develop and maintain database standards and best practices.
• Optimize database performance and resolve performance related issues.
• Monitor and maintain database security and integrity.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Perform database backup and recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies.

Job Requirements:
• Graduated from a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and administration.
• Experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience with Azure cloud database services.
• Experience with NoSQL a plus.
• Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
