The Data Visualization Specialist is a member of the Analytics Capabilities and Practices team that will focus on building sophisticated analytical capabilities including data science, predictive modeling, dashboarding, and data stewardship.
This team will be forward-looking in identifying analytics trends, emerging tools & practices to ensure we have the skills and capabilities we need to support D&A Customer Operations now and in the future.
Responsibilities & Output: Reporting and Business Intelligence: Expert experienceDashboards: Experience in buildingFamiliarity with testing web applications, user interfaces, and cross-browser compatibility.Participate in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.Communicate effectively with team members and partners regarding testing progress and results.Continuously update and improve report testing documentation and knowledge base.Provide guidance, assistance, and suggestions for product improvement based on testing observations.Data Visualization: Develop insightful and actionable visualizations from large and complex data sets. Consolidate multiple data sets into one visualization that tells a compelling story.Data Sourcing: Prepare and integrate various data sets from different systems into strategic storage locations for visualization purposes. Validate and ensure accuracy of data.Governance: Facilitate processes and activities promoting consistent and relevant use of visualization standards that will enable better clarity and user adoption across dashboards and other visualization output. Build robust and reusable data querying, transformation, and visualization methods for efficiency.Project and Stakeholder Management: Coordinate, define, and run projects as needed. Handle partner engagement at all levels to collect and understand requirements and use cases, mitigate or resolve issues, and deliver in a timely manner.Tools and Capabilities: Power BI – Required: Familiar with DAX functions and various types of visuals (with certification preferred)Excel - RequiredSQL - Required or any programming background – a plusReporting capability in Salesforce – a plusProject/task management reports from Asana toolSalesforce reports - a plusDesired Skills: At least 2 years of Power BI visualization related experience.Experience in managing a group in building a project.Strong analytical skills, good social skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and perform well as part of a team.LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
