If you have applied for multiple job openings within our organization, we kindly request that you direct any update inquiries to the team responsible for handling your initial application.Position : Data Entry (Finance) Work Hours (Client) : 9 am - 5 pm CST Holidays : US Holidays or PH Holidays their choice Pay Range : 800 - 1,200 (depending on interview assessment and client's approval) Please take note that pay will be given in USD Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist with light customer support responsibilities. The primary focus of this role is to process city utility bills, accurately document and enter data into Excel, and use our software to bill apartment tenants for their water usage. You will interact with apartment managers to verify billing and make adjustments before bills are sent out to residents and uploaded to property software. You will also handle 10-20 customer support calls per month, and roughly 20-30 resident emails answering billing questions and resolving inquiries with patience and professionalism. Responsibilities will be heavily weighted to the first 10 days of the month, be prepared to work longer hours at this time and fewer hours towards the end of the month. Key Responsibilities: Pull city utility bills from websites, document and enter the data into Excel. Work with internal software to bill apartment tenants accurately. Perform quality assurance (QA) on data entry, ensuring there are no typos and all instructions are followed. Handle customer support calls and email inquiries, explaining billing details and addressing tenant questions. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks. The workload will be heaviest during the first 10 days of the month, as bills need to be approved by property managers and sent out by the 15th. After the bills are sent, the workload will lighten, focusing mainly on customer support tasks.Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry and customer service roles. Experience in an accounting firm or billing company in a bill processing role or something similar Proficient in Excel, with the ability to manage large datasets and ensure accuracy. Strong attention to detail, deadlines and ability to follow QA guidelines strictly. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle irate callers calmly and professionally. Patience and strong problem-solving skills when addressing billing questions or concerns.Preferred Skills: Experience in utility billing or a related field is a plus. Familiarity with customer support tools and billing software. The job will be 90% data entry for financial data and bills and needs extreme attention to detail as well as a very solid understanding of Excel. There's only 10% of this job will be geared towards customer service.
