QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a graduate of any computer-related courseMinimum 5 years working experience as a Data Center Operator / Data Center SpecialistWith at least 3 years working experience in a supervisory capacityWith a strong background on switch applicationsWith basic knowledge on the use of AIX/Unix-based systemsMust have knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsShould have the skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and non-verballyBackground in network is a plus factorKnowledge in relational databases is a plus factorExcellent analytical, problem-solving and administration skillsMentoring and coaching skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsShould demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment and be confident with decision making JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Center Operations Officer is responsible for assisting the Data Center Operations Department Head in establishing the unit's strategy and overseeing the daily operations with the objective of meeting agreed SLAs.

The DCO Officer is expected to perform procedural training for new Data Center Specialists and cascade of changes in system handling and batch process to all DC Specialists.

The DCO Officer is expected to collaborate closely with the DCO Head in monitoring the overall performance of the team and to assist the DCO Head in managing the team capacity and utilization.
