Data And Applications Engineer

Summary of the Role
The Data and Applications Engineer will build the analytic infrastructure for the Risk Management Department. This role involves developing and maintaining databases and applications to support risk analytics and reporting. Additionally, you will manage resources and security to ensure the effective operation of the department's systems.

Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the analytic and reporting infrastructure for the Risk Management Department.
- Manage resources to ensure the effective functioning of the analytic and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary data
- Create and maintain a risk database through ETL processes.
- Build applications to facilitate ETL, risk analytics, and reporting.
- Oversee network and digital security for the department's analytic infrastructure.
- Develop software to support Risk Management initiatives.
- Perform additional assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in the same role
- Strong documentation and reporting skills, proficient in MS Office and database applications.
- Proficient in network administration, server management, SQL database engineering, software development, and automated reporting tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
- Must be proficient in Data Visualization, Data Modeling, Risk Modeling
- Highly analytical and possess good EQ to work in a fast-paced and very dynamic environment
