This role is focused on supporting Head of Treaty in handling our clients' Reinsurance Treaty programme renewals.

What the day will look like Responsible for the preparation and analysis of Treaty data & underwriting information for the production of contractual documents- including but not limited to slips, cover notes, wordings, endorsements, addendum, presentations; signing of contractual documents. Preparation and technical analysis of statistics and other underwriting information supporting the negotiation and placement of Treaty business by the broking team. Preparation of summary term sheets, Treaty programme structure charts Maintenance of placement correspondence/ documents To ensure accurate and timely data input in the data system (GRiDS) as well as ensuring compliance with relevant Company and Market Rules and Procedures. Updating on progress of the placement using the appropriate trackers Other incidental duties related to the negotiation and placement of Treaty reinsurance contracts. Ensure the optimum use of Aon's business systems in line with current Aon business practices. Collaborate with colleagues throughout the Asia Pacific and Global network to achieve objectives Support brokers in their follow-up communications with clients and reinsurers Maintain and share technical expertise in specialist/ technical areas About You: Indicating a track record of success, you will be inquisitive, keen to learn and have a passion for data and the opportunities and business insights it reveals.
Understanding the role of reinsurance in a clients' business strategy Effective translation of those needs, identifying appropriate partners, negotiation, statistical analysis and interpretation and legal parameters and content Have a good knowledge of key competitors, awareness of industry practices and Aon's regulatory controls In depth understanding, consistently maintaining a working knowledge of the client whilst managing expectations and the introduction of new products staying abreast of market developments and the client potential impact Can work well under pressure Communicate confidently with others Adopt a systematic approach, preparing contingency plans Education: Candidates with an undergraduate degree (graduate of any 4 – year course).
