At least 4 years of professional experience in Threat and Vulnerability Analysis/Management In depth experience and understanding of security best practices and frameworks, various security tools and technologies. Industry experiences working within AU Company Professional Cyber Security Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) desirable or equivalent experience. What will you do? Our client is on a journey to uplift its cyber security posture, and to help support we are looking for a threat and vulnerability analyst to uplift existing threat and vulnerability management processes, support remediation activity and build reporting to support robust governance and management of organization cyber risk related to vulnerabilities across our technology stack.
Analyse and interpret security scan results from automated scanning tools such a Burp Suite, Synk to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation steps. Monitor unpatched vulnerabilities identified by Endpoint Detection and Response Toolset, and coordinate remediation. Work with development and operations teams to ensure that Containers are designed, developed, and deployed with security in mind. Collaborate with other members of the security team to maintain and improve our overall security posture Stay current with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigating measures. Develop meaningful reporting metrics to track and report on company's risk position with respect to unpatched vulnerabilities.
