As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle, working on an internal project passionate about improving the organization's cybersecurity practices. This project involves developing a web application to automate key cybersecurity tasks, improving efficiency and security across teams. You will work closely with the cybersecurity and shared services teams throughout the project, from planning to deployment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Collaborating with the cybersecurity and shared services team to capture requirements for automating manual cybersecurity tasks. Conducting research to explore design and implementation options for the web application. Developing the application using modern software development practices such as Agile. Using programming languages such as CSS, c, React JS, HTML, etc. to construct and implement features for Web Applications. Detailing the application's workflows and develop troubleshooting guides. Capturing feedback from team members to improve and refine the application. Who You Are: You build rapport in an open, friendly, and accepting way. You have a strong bottom-line orientation. You learn quickly when facing new situations.
For This Role You Will Need: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field. Strong curiosity about cybersecurity, automation, and software development. Knowledge of Web Development Programming languages CSS, C, React JS, HTML, etc. Ability to collaborate optimally with others and solve complex problems. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Familiarity with cybersecurity framework is a plus. Experience with web development technologies.
