About the Role Technology plays a critical role in the delivery of AGL's strategy, helping our customers decarbonise the way they live, move and work and transitioning our generation portfolio. We have two 12-month fixed term Cybersecurity Engineer opportunities available in our Operational Technology (OT) Security team who support a variety of electricity generation and gas sites across Australia. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise to uplift initiatives to drive improvement in cybersecurity maturity. This role will also support BAU activities including vulnerability and risk management, monitoring, and detection investigation for OT and Industrial Control Systems. You will work with various teams across AGL including cybersecurity, technology, engineering and operational stakeholders to assess risk, prioritise work and drive effective outcomes.? What you'll be doing? Influence and provide OT security expertise with project, site engineering and control system teams Provide specialized support and technical assistance on investigations, issues and incidents and ensure these are resolved in a timely manner Monitor and assess effectiveness of security controls and recommend and implement remediations for the prevention of future threats Contribute to the ongoing development of AGL's security toolset Provide periodic updates of monitoring systems, dashboards, metrics and reporting to relevant stakeholders Support the uplift of Cyber awareness for the site operational teams by engaging with multitude of stakeholders. About you Strong experience working in a range of OT environments Commitment to working safely and collaboratively Experience with network security, access controls, SIEM technologies, passive monitoring tools and log collection in OT environments Understanding of the key protocols and patterns typical of IT and OT-ICS environments (web traffic, proxy and firewall traffic, process control traffic including ICS protocols) Knowledge of IT and OT/ICS platforms and operating systems (Windows UNIX/Linux) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills to diagnosis issues, prioritize and instigate remedial and response actions Tertiary qualification and/or accreditation specific to Operational Technology or related field (Cyber security, Electrical engineering/Mechatronics, Computer Science, IT) Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and compliance standards (MITRE ATT&CK, AESCSF and IEC 62443) Understanding of scripting and search query languages (Python, PowerShell, SQL) is highly valued.
