A Cybersecurity Analyst is expected to: Have an in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management. Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends. Report cyber security incidents, mitigation advisement, quality review and after action (Incident Response) Use SOC monitoring tools and have a working understanding of systems. Such as, SIEM systems, Intrusion Detection System, Data Loss Prevention, Antivirus System, to review and analyze pre-defined events. Provide analysis and identify trends of security log data from a large number of heterogeneous security devices indicative of incidents. Knowledgeable in Cyber Intelligence - IOC (Indicators of Compromise) vetting and disposition. Assist in recommendations for content to detect incidents, including new IOCs for blocking and detection. Monitor and assess complex security devices for patterns and anomalies, using manual search queries to identify threats reported via an alert or manual hunt. What it takes to be part of our team: With at least 2 years of cybersecurity experience Strong Cybersecurity Fundamentals Windows Operating Systems (Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Windows end user operating systems) Linux Operating Systems Network Security Email Security Endpoint Security Network Logs (Firewalls/Routers/Switches/IDS/IPS/DNS/VPN/AWS/ etc.) Command line as well as Encoding and decoding commands, and living off the land techniques PowerShell as well as Encoding and decoding commands, and living off the land techniques Protocols MITRE ATT&CK Understandings Elastic Query String Mini-Language What's in it for you?
