Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis
Conduct a thorough analysis of the financial statements of companies to evaluate their financial health which includes examining income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial data.Recognize potential problematic situations and escalate them to the Team Lead
Credit Risk Management
Collect relevant information about customers, business climate, sector development from public and other sources.Perform manual credit assessments or review & revise the system-generated credit proposals, if neededCollect requests coming from the business and evaluate the need to modify the credit limits previously assigned.Create credit limit applications, take credit decisions, and approve credit limits in the system.Proposal for write-off / bad debts provision
Preparation of payment term applications
Support business during negotiation on specific payment terms requests from customers and check financial clauses / invoicing requirements.Shipment release/monitoring in the ERP against credit limit block
Periodic Review and Monitoring
Evaluate and analyze changing market conditions that may impact the creditworthiness of specific customers or industries.Foresee potential changes of or impact on credit limits due to economic fluctuations within a country and propose suitable strategies to mitigate risks for the company.Consider other changing conditions that may influence credit risk.KPI reporting and monitoring.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control procedures.
Job Requirements: More than 2-3 years of working experience in a Credit Management function, preferably in an international environmentBachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting or similarExcellent English skills in spoken and written formKnowledge of Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) methodology and SAP FSCM is beneficial.Strong capability to analyze financial data and interpret financial statements, knowledge of credit risk, balance sheet analysis, financial exposure, credit research systems and procedures, credit scoring systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.Proven analytical skills and solution-oriented approach.Effective verbal and written communication skills to present evidence from credit analysis and interact with relevant stakeholders.
