Credit And Collection Team Lead (San Juan)

Details of the offer

A credit and collections team lead manages a team's operations and performance, with the goal of achieving targets for accounts receivable (AR). They also ensure that the team adheres to service level agreements (SLAs) for credit risk management.
Some responsibilities of a credit and collections team lead include:
Managing the team
Overseeing the day-to-day work of the team, including delegating tasks and providing coaching
Developing strategies
Developing and implementing collection strategies to ensure efficient debt recovery
Meeting targets
Ensuring that cash collections targets are met and that bad debt and overdue debt are minimized
Communicating
Communicating with customers to ensure timely collections and being the point of contact for internal inquiries
Managing risk
Assessing and controlling credit risk, and reviewing credit limits and risk exposures
Reporting
Generating and reviewing reports on performance updates and KPIs
Some qualifications for a credit and collections team lead include:
A bachelor's degree in business administration or finance
Experience in credit and collections, preferably in a lead role
Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Effective communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
