Creative Writer

Use the written word to express story lines and ideas with clarity.
- Developing story elements (characters, plot, theme, dialogue, imagery, sounds and style).
- Developing creative scripts and ideas for stories.
- Editing pieces from other writers.
- Conducting research to include information in stories.
- Presenting drafts for editing in a timely manner.
- Produce original and error-free content
- Revise copies based on internal feedback/direction

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in journalism, AB communication, literature or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a writer.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Able to manage time efficiently.
- Creative and inquisitive nature.
- Conduct research before and during the writing process.
- Prepare material for assignments, which includes planning, outline, and synopsis.
- Conduct thorough fact-checks before submitting any work.
- Ensure the logical flow of all writing produced.
- Join feedback sessions and making revisions suggested.
- Go to training sessions and workshops as required.
- Critical reading and thinking skills.
- An interest in current events and a general thirst for knowledge.
- Evidence of writing experience (links to previous work is necessary: stories, movie/commercial scripts, etc.).
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong research skills
- Creativity

**Salary**: Php18,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month

- Santa Rosa City, Laguna: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
