Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Php 30-40k)
Job Summary:
As a CPA at our dive resort, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and implementing effective financial controls. This role requires a strong understanding of hospitality industry accounting practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
Provide financial forecasts based on industry trends, resort performance, and market conditions.
Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
Review and negotiate contracts with vendors to optimize costs and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual terms.
Oversee daily cash flow and liquidity management.
Implement strategies to optimize cash resources and minimize financial risk.
Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
Collaborate with management to develop strategies for revenue enhancement.
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and ensure the resort's financial practices align with legal requirements.
Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Previous experience in hospitality or resort accounting is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
