Position : Senior Costing Engineer

Qualifications / Education:
Electrical Engineering Graduates preferred License
with 5 years of experience in Costing

Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation and Analysis: Supervise cost estimates for LV and MV Switchgears, Synchronizing Panels, Panelboards, ATS, MTS and Motor Controllers including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost assessments.Review and interpret electrical schematics and specifications to ensure accurate costing.Prepare and present cost estimates to project managers, clients, and stakeholders.Generate automated cost template to improve and expedite the costing process. Project Budgeting and Control: Establish and maintain project budgets based on approved estimates.Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing variances.Provide cost reports and financial updates to project managers and senior management.Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize costs while maintaining project quality and performance. Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors for materials and services.Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.Maintain relationships with key vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service delivery. - Process Improvement and Documentation: Develop and implement best practices for cost estimation and project budgeting.Maintain and update a database of historical costs and pricing information for use in future projects.Document and standardize cost estimation procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects.
