Cost Accountant

Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents and records of the organization
Analyze and recommends cost and cost savings
Analyze manufacturing cost and prepare regular reports comparing standard cost to actual production cost
Make estimates of new and proposed product cost
Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability
Defines financial situation by preparing quantitative analysis
Develop accurate financial plans and forecasts based on analysis of the business operations
Compile reports on financial performance metrics and trends and provide business recommendation based on findings
Assist in preparing company budget and monitors budget expenditures
Recommends financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals
Prepares financial actions by collecting, formatting, analyzing and explaining information
Prepares other reports required by management
